The list I want to always remember

I have to remember to nurture my female energy, as it is so easy to get trapped in my constant male energy of doing. So this morning, I took paper and pen and decided to keep this paper in a place where I could see it all the time.
If you are a man reading this post, please keep reading there might be things you would like to integrate, even in your relationship with your partner. Remember, female and masculine energy is not about gender. We all have both within us.
Creativity
For me, being creative is connecting with my female side. I am being. I paint without looking for a result, I just allow myself to be, and it is quite a magical moment. It is the same when I write, like this post, it comes from my inner self. Music: when I am at a great live music event, I am in my receiving... and it is beautiful to feel what it moves inside me. Even listening to a great playlist and deeply connecting with it brings me into my female energy.
When I cook, I am in my creative female energy. I love to create food, mix ingredients, I don’t use recipes; I just see what comes out by combining the proteins and veggies that I like.
Incense and Candles
There is something mystical about these two things. Personally, they bring me back to my higher self, give me a sense of relaxation, and empower my spaces.
Connecting with Pleasure

I remind myself that pleasure will help me progress more than pain ever will.
I allow myself to receive pleasure… and pleasure comes in different forms for each individual.
For example, this morning, I felt so much pleasure from going to the market early with Thomas, buying my veggies, connecting with people, and choosing what will nourish me for the rest of the week. I had a delicious almond croissant with Johanna, felt the sun on my face, and connected with the beauty of this city and nature. Honestly, Cambridge is beautiful!
Spaces
This is important to me, the spaces I surround myself with.
Yesterday, I made my room cosy. I just need some plants now. :) I moved things around and removed some luggage that made me feel like the energy was stuck. It feels amazing. Through this beautiful space, I will connect with my space for journaling, meditation, my body, etc.
Embracing My Emotions
I give space for strong emotions when they arise, like frustration. Thanks to somatic therapy, I have learned to name them, feel them in my body, and move through each one, even happiness. Yes! Celebrate when you feel at your highest, let that happiness ground into your body. feel it
Words
This is a big thing for me, being gentle in my self talk, as I can be quite demanding and hard on myself.
Last week, I was talking to a friend who always says things like, “You should” or “You’re never going to change”(referring to me not fixing my bike lights).
I sat down and reflected on those strong words, and I realised that I really don’t deserve them. I don’t.
We get used to hearing “No” from childhood. Nooo, don’t do that!
I was listening to a podcast the other day about a Montessori teacher. Instead of telling a child “Don’t climb that!”, try modifying your words to: “Keep your feet on the grass.”
Instead of saying:
“Good job!” or “That’s great!”
“Don’t do that!” or “No!”
“You’re wrong!” or “That’s not right!”
“I’m so proud of you!”
“Just answer the question.”
“You’re so clever!”
Try saying instead:
“I can see you worked hard on that.”
“You kept going, even when it got difficult.”
“Tell me about your picture/story/project.”
“How did you decide to paint/draw/write that?”
“Wow, that took a lot of time and effort, and you never gave up—you did it!”
In the Montessori approach, instead of focusing on praise or rewards, we encourage self-discovery and effort with phrases like “I can see you worked hard.”
I am constantly learning how to have more beautiful conversations with myself.

Beauty
I really love beauty, and one thing about me is that I see beauty in all human beings.
I love flowers, plants, nature… Beauty, for me, is not connected to the makeup industry. It is more about clear spaces, art, nature, simplicity, culture, and people being in their true nature, imperfection.
Nourishing My Body
I love massages—badly! But I always forget that I love them, so it’s important to remind myself to dedicate time to self-massage, using oils.
I nourish my body through cold plunges, hot baths, and cooking healthy food. I really like fish, salads, and delicious veggies.
Yoga is one of my top ways to nourish my body. Even though it can be painful and hard, my body is so, so, so grateful afterwards.
Breathing exercises help me deeply connect with myself.
I am also finding that weight training gives me a sense of honouring my body, allowing it to be stronger, integrating who I am, and taking deep breaths through the process.
Deep Connections with People
Yesterday, I had a naked soul encounter with a friend I hadn’t seen in a year.
Being both open and vulnerable, talking about ourselves, felt like nurturing community and womanhood.
I love her being, and I love me being with her, in the sunshine, with a coffee.
I decide to share this list, maybe someone could need to read it and remeber what I have to remeber too.
Love, and gratitud
